UGGS

I am so impulsive. I always have been but I am not sure if I am ready to blog on the reasons why I am impulsive. Accordingly, I will just warn you what my impulsiveness almost cost me.
They said "if something is too good to be true, then it usually is too good to be true"! Well that statement became true for me the other week.
I have wanted Uggs for so long now but £190 for the classic tall boots somehow did manage to control my impulsiveness to the point that I would not purchase them. However, finding an 'Uggs Austrailia' site with HALF PRICE UGGS, I could not resist. I even decided that I would purchase 2 pairs as the postage and packaging was "free" also. How stupid can one person get? I went through all the checkout procedure with a tingling feeling of excitement - I was finally gonna get my Uggs and not 1 but 2 pairs. Suddenly I was brought down to earth with a bang when the very last page stated "Trade Successful, Authentication Successful".
Thankfully, although I am impulsive, I am not stupid and I knew instantaneously something was not right here. I phoned my bank immediately and they advised stopping my card or checking if there was a customer service number that I could call. I did notice a customer service number so left the bank in the lurch whilst I went off to call the 'Ugg' customer service (my mind was still very much on the "I want two pairs of Uggs" mode). So I called them only to find out that I had ordered from a fake site and that the people who set up the fake sites (yes there are more than one) are clever enough to link the customer service number in the UK to their website. I couldn't believe it and was advised, prior to getting off the phone to call my bank back, that if you want REAL UGGS you are not gonna get them half price!
I quickly phoned back my bank and they put a stop on my card. Thankfully no money has been taken from my account and my account has not been compromised.
