I know that there will be many people in the UK who will be pleased with the announcement that Gordon Brown has resigned as leader of the Labour Party but I, for one, am sad. That said however, I cannot help but laugh at Sky News - I swear, they really are bringing entertainment into this hung parliament fiasco.
Yesterday, they provided me with a giggle regarding "electing a pope is more transparent" and today we have Adam Boulton v Alastair Campbell having a full blown argument regarding Gordon's resignation.
Lord Steel was very gracious when he said "as a Chancellor for 10 years and PM for 3, he should be allowed to have time with his young family..........""! I like Lord Steel and I wish Gordon Brown all the best.
Now time to go and laugh some more at Sky News .................................................. ;o)
